Punch Laser OperatorPay:minimum$24an hour(Dependenton Experience)Hours: Monday Friday7am 3:30pmJob SummaryThePunch Laser Operatoris responsible foroperatingmaintaining and troubleshooting CNC punch and laser equipment to produce high-precision custom-fabricated metal components for the power industry. This role requires physical stamina attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-trained team upoperate andmonitor CNC punch and laser machines to produce precision metal partsPerform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on punch and laser equipment (Amada preferred) Change lenses and perform preventive maintenance on laser equipment as required Modify and run downloaded CNC programs; assist with basic programming adjustmentsRead and interpret prints drawings and job travelers to fabricate parts accurately Identifyand work with various metals including cold rolled steelgalvanneal stainless steel and aluminum Utilize nesting concepts to maximize material efficiency (preferred) Inspect parts for quality accuracy and conformance to specifications Maintain a clean organized and safe work area at all times Work independently while also supporting team members in a cross-trained job shop environment Adapt to changing daily assignments based on production needsQualificationsExperience:2 years minimum Punch and laser operation : High school diploma or equivalent Skills:FormalLasertrainingpreferred but not required / OTJ experience consideredFamiliarity withmaterial inspection procedures and ISO quality standardsPhysical Requirements:Ability tolift upto75 bending twisting standing stooping sitting walking and reaching Requirements:Must pass a background check and drug screen.
