Hereshow you will make a difference in this role

As Head of IT Products & Engineering you will be accountablefor leadingMMSsevolutiontoa modern productled engineeringcentricorganisation- one that delivers value faster moresafelyand atscale.

In so doingyou willhavethree keypriorities:

  • AIDelivered Software Engineering- Elevate software engineering by embedding AIassisted development as a default capability across product and platform teams.
  • MaximisingUse of Dynamics 365- Drive materially better ROI from theorganisationsDynamics 365 investment by reducing fragmentationduplicationand bespoke solutions; and aligning product owners engineeringteamsand business leadersarounda common platform direction
  • Transforming Ways of Working Lead the shift from traditional functionally siloeddeliveryto modern product-led ways of working

At MMS clear expectations help our people Be the Difference. Your key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Define and own a coherent productand platform strategy aligned to enterprise priorities and approved technology roadmaps.

  • Lead platform consolidation replatforming and decommissioning of legacy systems including the reduction of technical debt and duplication throughstandardisationand simplification.

  • Leadhighperformingengineering and product teams acrossapplicationplatform and integration domains.

  • Lead the adoption of AIassisted software engineering capabilities across design development testing deploymentoperationsand support.

  • Ensure AI tooling is integrated into standard engineering workflowsplatformsand developer environments rather thanoperatingas disconnected pilots.

  • Ensure platforms and products meet agreed availability performance and recoverability expectations.

  • Proactively manage technology risk and ensure compliance with internal policies and external obligations.

To be considered for this role you willpossessthe following:

  • Tertiary qualification in a technology or businessrelated discipline

  • Senior leadership experience in software engineering and platform management

  • Proven delivery of largescale platformmodernisationor consolidation

  • Experienceoperatingin regulated highavailability environments

  • Executivelevel communication and stakeholder engagement

  • Strong ownership mindset and accountability

  • Commercial acumen and riskbased decision making

  • Strategic thinking with pragmatic execution
