We are currently searching for a Backend Tandem Dev:
Responsibilities:
Design build and maintain integrations to expose business logic from the NonStop/Tandem platform via SOAP and REST web services.
Modernize legacy modules written in COBOL C and Java ensuring high availability scalability and security.
Develop and debug serverclass and batch components within the Tandem environment.
Manage and optimize database interactions using SQL/MP and SQL/MX.
Ensure secure data exposure for both internal and external consumption.
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience with Tandem systems (Guardian OSS Pathway Webgate).
Strong proficiency in Java SE (JDK 11).
Proven experience in low-level and legacy languages:C COBOL and TAL.
Solid knowledge of Tandem-specific environments:Guardian and OSS.
Expertise in web service protocols:SOAP/XML and REST/JSON.
Hands-on experience with SQL/MP and SQL/MX databases.
3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial industry.
Desired:
Experience in legacy-to-service modernization projects.
Familiarity with high-volume transaction processing in financial environments.
