We are currently searching for a Backend Tandem Dev:

Responsibilities:

• Design build and maintain integrations to expose business logic from the NonStop/Tandem platform via SOAP and REST web services.
• Modernize legacy modules written in COBOL C and Java ensuring high availability scalability and security.
• Develop and debug serverclass and batch components within the Tandem environment.
• Manage and optimize database interactions using SQL/MP and SQL/MX.
• Ensure secure data exposure for both internal and external consumption.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience with Tandem systems (Guardian OSS Pathway Webgate).
• Strong proficiency in Java SE (JDK 11).
• Proven experience in low-level and legacy languages: C COBOL and TAL.
• Solid knowledge of Tandem-specific environments: Guardian and OSS.
• Expertise in web service protocols: SOAP/XML and REST/JSON.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/MP and SQL/MX databases.
• 3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial industry.

Desired:

• Experience in legacy-to-service modernization projects.
• Familiarity with high-volume transaction processing in financial environments.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Advanced Spanish.
