Senior Manager Procurement

Stepping into the role of Senior Manager of Procurement as akey part of the Procurement Leadership Team youll navigate the full procurement lifecycle within your designated business domain. As a hands-on leader championing a culture of leading by example and driving meaningful change is what fuels your passion.

To excel in this role youll need to build strong collaborative relationships across all areas of the business understand different internal customer needs and communicate clearly and concisely to tailored audiences.

Working with a team of talented procurement professionals your day-to-day activities will include leading and managing your area of the team and defining structure and governance to achieve business objectives. Youll also coach and mentor the team to deliver short medium and long-term goals aligned with AMLs strategic direction. Additionally youll build strong supplier relationships develop supplier strategies and lead cross-functional teams to ensure the companys goals are met.

Youll help develop a strong strategic procurement team and continuously seek process improvement opportunities in conjunction with the wider Senior Manager team. Youll liaise closely with Finance to align procurement targets and results with corporate reporting.

The Key Requirements:

• Previous Procurement experience in a manufacturing setting preferably within Automotive
• Understanding of the strategic role of the Procurement function and ability to work at this level.
• Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and have effective time management and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership experience
