Job Summary
Role Description
This is a full-time fully in-office position (5 days per week) for a Litigation Attorney based in El Segundo. The Litigation Attorney will handle all phases of litigation including drafting pleadings and motions preparing and arguing motions conducting depositions managing discovery and participating in trial preparation and trial. Attorneys are expected to take ownership of their cases work directly with clients and collaborate closely with the firms trial team to deliver high-level representation.
Qualifications
515 years of civil litigation experience preferably in complex commercial disputes professional responsibility employment law and/or personal injury
Strong experience drafting and arguing motions
Familiarity with California state and federal courts and procedures
Experience managing cases through discovery and trial preparation; trial experience or meaningful trial support experience strongly preferred
Experience taking and defending depositions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational analytical and case management abilities
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar
