Job Summary
Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse ICU
Location: Canton Ohio
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity evidence-based care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment teamwork and a commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes
- Manage critically ill patients including ventilators hemodynamic monitoring and invasive lines
- Administer medications blood products and titratable infusions
- Implement clinical care protocols (e.g. sepsis infection prevention bundles)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during rounds and patient care planning
- Provide patient and family education including end-of-life support when needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
- Respond to emergency situations (code blue/rapid response)
Schedule & Work Details:
- 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- No block scheduling
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- ICU experience required
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCRN certification
- Experience with ventilators vasoactive drips CRRT and post-operative critical care
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar EHR systems
