Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse ICU Location: Canton Ohio Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity evidence-based care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment teamwork and a commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes
Manage critically ill patients including ventilators hemodynamic monitoring and invasive lines
Administer medications blood products and titratable infusions
Implement clinical care protocols (e.g. sepsis infection prevention bundles)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during rounds and patient care planning
Provide patient and family education including end-of-life support when needed
Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
Respond to emergency situations (code blue/rapid response)
Schedule & Work Details:
3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Weekend and holiday rotation required
No block scheduling
Requirements:
Active RN license (state or compact)
BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
ICU experience required
Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications:
CCRN certification
Experience with ventilators vasoactive drips CRRT and post-operative critical care
Familiarity with EPIC or similar EHR systems
