The Technical Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the successful design deployment and ongoing performance of Cathelcos protection systems across the global fleet. Acting as a technical liaison between engineering production service partners and customers the role ensures systems are correctly specified documentation is delivered on time and consistent technical support is provided throughout the vessel lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Size and specify ICCP MGPS and USP systems in line with individual vessel designs and project requirements

• Produce and release installation manuals and engineering drawings to support manufacturing timelines and customer delivery schedules

• Provide technical support and guidance to Cathelcos worldwide agent network including service support production queries and system operation (full training provided)

• Support customers and onboard engineers with technical queries and troubleshooting

• Review monthly vessel log sheets responding with analysis and operational insight

• Accurately log system information spares and service opportunities within Salesforce

Skills Experience & Qualifications

• Mechanically minded with a strong interest in problem solving

• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to work and troubleshooting

• Clear and effective communication skills

• Willingness to undertake training and development for the role

• Strong team player

• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Understanding of engineering drawings (preferred)

• Passport holder (preferred)
