Warehouse Operative Aylesford Parts Plus

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ a Warehouse Operative to join our Parts Plus Centre in Aylesford. The working location of this position is currently our Ford dealership in Sittingbourne this will then move to Ayelsford. You will be responsible for picking and packing orders for trade delivery replenishing stock and processing returns. This position is offered on a 45-hour week. Monday Friday with 1 in 2 Saturday AMs paying 27350 per annum and reports to the Centre Manager.

Wonder what a day in the life of a Warehouse Operative is like Experience

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience within the automotive industry and have previous experience with Kerridge. The key attributes and skills we look for in an applicant are:

Strong communication and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence would be preferred

Previous work experience in a busy environment

Ability to work with tight deadlines

Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS office proficiency

Key Responsibilities and Duties

As a warehouse operative you will need to work effectively on your own and as part of a team with the efficiency and commitment to complete your own work and strive to maintain the team performance targets. You will also be expected to:

Sort and place items on storage racks and shelves

Collect items and prepare and complete orders for delivery

Perform inventory controls via scanner

Keeping an accurate and careful record of stock
