The Role:
The Attendance Officer will play a crucial role in improving student attendance and punctuality across the school. You will work closely with pastoral teams parents and external agencies to monitor attendance data and implement targeted interventions.

This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to build positive relationships with families and students.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily attendance and follow up on absences
Analyse attendance data to identify trends and concerns
Work with pastoral teams to support students with low attendance
Communicate with parents/carers regarding attendance issues
Liaise with external agencies where necessary
Maintain accurate records in line with school policies

Requirements:
Experience in a school or attendance-related role
Strong data analysis and organisational skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Knowledge of safeguarding and attendance procedures
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
