Library Provision:
The school library is a central hub of learning supporting both curriculum and independent study. It is a well-resourced space used by students across all year groups offering a wide range of fiction non-fiction and digital resources.

The library plays a key role in promoting literacy supporting research skills and fostering a love of reading across the school community.

The Role:
As Librarian you will manage the day-to-day running of the school library and promote reading and literacy across the school. You will support students with research coordinate reading initiatives and maintain a welcoming and organised learning space.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and organise library resources including cataloguing and stock control
Promote reading through events clubs and literacy initiatives
Support students with research and independent study skills
Maintain a calm and productive learning environment within the library
Work with teaching staff to support curriculum-based research
Oversee library systems and digital resources

Requirements:
Experience working in a library or educational setting
Strong organisational and communication skills
Passion for literacy and student development
Ability to manage a busy and dynamic environment
Familiarity with library management systems (desirable)
