Are you a friendly and customer-oriented individual with a passion for fitness and exceptional hospitality skills We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Front of House team member at Snap Fitness Spalding.
Role Overview:
As a Gym Receptionist / Front of House team member you will be the first point of contact for our members ensuring they have a positive and welcoming experience. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with the opportunity to progress into an Assistant Manager position.
Your role will involve a variety of interactions both in person and over the phone. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in delivering excellent customer service and fostering a supportive gym environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome members and guests in a warm and friendly manner
Answer phone calls and provide accurate information on memberships services and classes
Conduct confident and engaging tours of the facility
Assist with membership sign-ups renewals and payment handling
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front desk and reception area
Respond to member feedback inquiries and concerns professionally
Support trainers and team members where required
Stay up to date with current promotions services and events
Contribute to a positive inclusive and motivating gym environment
Requirements:
Previous customer service experience (fitness or hospitality preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident approachable and professional manner
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
A proactive solution-focused attitude
Basic understanding of gym operations (desirable)
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
