Data Analyst (Commercial Bay Auckland)
We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially aware Data Analyst to join our Corporate IT team based in our Commercial Bay Auckland office.
The Data Analyst plays a central role in Delegats modern data ecosystem built on Microsoft Fabrics analytics stack. Youll work across stakeholders to translate business questions into clear analysis dashboards and actionable insights helping improve the quality accessibility and use of data across the organisation.

What youll be doing
- Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs translating requirements into clear user stories and deliverables.
- Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric pipelines dataflows and lakehouses to support Delegats data and analytics platform.
- Monitor data processing and help reduce latency improving the timeliness and reliability of datasets.
- Maintain semantic models to enable consistent trusted reporting and self-service analytics.
- Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide accurate timely insights.
- Support strong data governance practices including documentation definitions and data quality controls.
What youll bring
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a data analyst reporting analyst or business intelligence role (corporate/IT environment preferred).
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong skills in SQL and experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric components (e.g. Data Factory Dataflows lakehouse patterns) and/or modern data platforms.
- Experience in data modelling; Python skills are an advantage.
- A continuous improvement mindset taking ownership of outcomes and adapting based on feedback.
- Experience with the Power Platform (e.g. Power Automate flows connectors low-code solutions) is an advantage.
- Nice to have: experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and/or exposure to ML/AI.
