Location: Tucson AZ
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM (School Hours)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA to support students within a specialized educational setting focused on visual impairments. This role involves providing individualized care and assisting students throughout the school day in a safe inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to students with visual impairments
- Assist with daily health needs and ensure student safety
- Collaborate with teachers therapists and school staff on individualized plans
- Monitor and document student health status and progress
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with staff and caregivers
Work Schedule & Environment
- Follows school calendar (holidays and breaks observed)
- No weekends required
- Consistent daytime hours supporting work-life balance
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- Experience working with children preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
