We are based in Vienna the most liveable city in the world and are looking for a motivated Chemical Laboratory Technician to support our team in running trials with our in-house carbonation technologies.

Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare execute and monitor laboratory trials for CO₂ sequestration in mineral residues.
- Operate maintain and calibrate lab equipment and experimental setups.
- Perform sample preparation handling and chemical analyses (e.g. XRD XRF titrations ICP gravimetric methods).
- Accurately record organize and evaluate test data in collaboration with process engineers and data specialists.
- Support optimization of experimental protocols and contribute to scaling lab results into pilot-scale trials.
- Ensure safe laboratory practices and compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the R&D team to translate scientific concepts into repeatable and reliable experiments.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational background in Chemical Engineering Chemistry Process Engineering or Laboratory Technology (degree or technician diploma).
- At least 2 years of laboratory or process-related work experience (industrial academic or applied research).
- Hands-on laboratory skills with strong attention to detail and safety.
- Experience with analytical methods for solid materials is a plus.
- Familiarity with experimental design documentation and quality control.
- Proactive solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Passion for sustainability and interest in carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) technologies.
