Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) ABA Services
Location: Ashburn VA 20148 Schedule: Monday Friday 08:50 AM 03:40 PM (Day Shift) Duration: 7 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in a school-based setting. This role involves working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support individuals with developmental or behavioral needs through structured intervention plans and skill-building activities.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Support:
Implement individualized ABA therapy programs as directed by the BCBA
Provide one-on-one and group support to meet behavioral and developmental goals
Assist in building communication social and daily living skills
Behavior Intervention:
Apply behavior management and reduction strategies per treatment plans
Respond effectively to behavioral challenges using approved techniques
Maintain a structured safe and supportive environment
Data Collection & Reporting:
Accurately record behavioral data during sessions
Monitor and track progress toward individualized goals
Communicate observations and updates to the supervising BCBA
Collaboration:
Partner with educators therapists and clinical staff
Participate in team meetings training sessions and program reviews
Follow all clinical ethical and organizational protocols
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow structured treatment plans with accuracy
Detail-oriented with strong observation and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in ABA therapy or behavioral health
Background working in school or special education settings
Familiarity with behavior tracking and data collection tools
