VIE in Digital Change Management & Communication (d/f/m)

Definition VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy Finance and Employment open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals plus Norway Iceland and Liechtenstein). Candidates meeting these criteria and interested in a VIE please register before your 28th birthday on the website . Your location

At our Donauwörth site located on the banks of the river Danube we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

The overall target of the change management activities is to support the integration of digital technologies ensuring a seamless transition for all stakeholders as well as to assist in fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability among the users. For this purpose you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of change management and communication strategies for the DDMS project:

  • Communication Content & Creative Media: Writing articles managing the logistical preparation for events/team events. Contributing to the elaboration of informational videos and organizing internal and external workshops/Events to promote digital leadership.

  • Digital Communication Platform: contributing to our Digital Communication Platform (drumbeat/coordination activities content management Live events preparation)

  • Change Management: Supporting employees through critical phases of change adoption through dedicated operational change management actions like key users communities animation and managing Engagement Surveys.

  • Training Center Management: Support for the setup and management of a dedicated DDMS Training Center / Center of Competence aimed at equipping employees with digital skills.

This role offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of the aerospace industrys digital evolution.

  • State-of-the-Art Digital Transformation: You will work on the DDMS project a decade-long initiative creating a digital twin and promoting digital continuity throughout the helicopter lifecycle revolutionizing product design production and maintenance for the company.

  • Transnational Environment: You will act transnationally primarily between France and Germany with potential outreach to partners in Japan and other Airbus Helicopters subsidiaries.

  • Strategic Networking: You will collaborate with a multifunctional team including IT Engineering Production Support and Services and more functions providing visibility and supporting your network building within the entire company.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • University degree (Masters level) in the area of Communication Change Management Business Aeronautics Computer Science or an equivalent field of study

  • First practical experience in Change Management or Digital Communication is desirable

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite.

  • Soft Skills: Organized inquisitive curious about technical/ digital subjects and proactive with strong analytical and communication abilities.

  • English: Fluent; French: Advanced; proficiency in German is a strong advantage
