Job Description: Seeking a Product Owner and Portfolio Manager to drive IT product strategy and deliver cross-functional solutions. You will oversee a portfolio of IT products guide lifecycle stages manage backlogs and roadmaps coordinate with business partners and vendors and ensure delivery aligns with strategic goals governance and budget constraints. Youll lead agile ceremonies track performance metrics and evolve products from concept to enterprise service transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of IT products and applications; ensure alignment with business needs for internal and external users
- Act as Product Owner across lifecycle stages; optimize efficiency quality and strategic alignment
- Define scope with business SMEs internal teams agencies and vendors; support procurement and implementation
- Create/prioritize backlogs and roadmaps aligned with IT strategy and evolving user/state needs
- Oversee releases readiness performance feedback risk and budget management
- Define/track performance metrics; ensure compliance with state IT governance requirements
- Manage vendor relationships; monitor interoperability SLAs and availability
- Oversee IT financials; budget planning and status updates to leadership
- Lead cross-functional fusion teams; allocate resources and support team performance
- Facilitate agile ceremonies; sprint planning story development and stakeholder communications
- Collaborate with executives and product teams to prioritize development and transition to enterprise services
- Build strong client/business relationships and ensure issue resolution
Required / Desired Skills:
- Project management (scope budget timeline resources): 5 years
- Product ownership / portfolio management: 2 years
- Requirements elicitation and documentation: 5 years
- Software development lifecycle (SDLC) proficiency: 5 years
- Vendor management / partner collaboration: 5 years
