Rate: $67/hr on c2c with 4.8% of VMS.
We are seeking a skilled DBT Developer with expertise in Data Vault automation and data modeling using Python. The ideal candidate will design build and optimize scalable data pipelines and models to support enterprise-level analytics and reporting. This role requires strong technical proficiency in DBT Python and modern data warehousing concepts with a focus on automation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain DBT models for enterprise data warehouse solutions.
Implement Data Vault 2.0 methodology for scalable and auditable data modeling.
Automate data modeling workflows using Python scripts and reusable frameworks.
Collaborate with data engineers analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient data models.
Optimize SQL queries and DBT transformations for performance and scalability.
Ensure data quality lineage and governance across all pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and modeling processes.
Document processes standards and best practices for DBT and Data Vault automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a DBT Developer or Data Engineer.
Strong knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 methodology and data modeling principles.
Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake BigQuery Redshift or Azure Synapse).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow Prefect Dagster).
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
Prior experience in contract consulting roles within enterprise data environments
