Job Summary:
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Python Scripting Professionals with strong hands on expertise in automating tasks building reusable scripts and supporting platform or application needs. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Python fundamentals scripting best practices and working with APIs file systems data formats and automation workflows in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop optimize and maintain Python scripts for automation data processing system operations or application support.
- Build reusable modules and utilities following coding standards and best practices.
- Work with REST APIs to automate integrations retrieve data and orchestrate workflows.
- Manipulate and parse structured/unstructured data using Python (JSON CSV XML logs etc.).
- Implement automation around deployments monitoring reporting or operational tasks.
- Troubleshoot existing scripts identify root causes and improve performance or stability.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable scripting solutions.
- Maintain documentation for scripts workflows logic and processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong 5- 8years hands on experience in Python scripting (functions modules OOP basics error handling).
- Proficiency in working with REST APIs HTTP methods and request/response parsing.
- Strong understanding of data manipulation including JSON CSV XML and log processing.
- Experience with automation tasks cron jobs schedulers or workflow triggers.
- Familiarity with common Python libraries such as:
- os sys logging requests json subprocess etc.
- Ability to write clean maintainable and scalable scripting code.
- Solid debugging and problem solving abilities.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines or automation tools.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Exposure to Databricks Airflow or orchestration frameworks.
- Version control experience (Git).
