Location: Anderson SC Region (Remote Flexibility)

Overview A growing and well-positioned organization within the plastics packaging and films sector is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive revenue growth across a defined Southeast territory. The Sales Rep. wil be allowed to build business remotely and reports directly to Senior Sales Manager.
This is a fully remote individual contributor role designed for a self-directed hunter-oriented sales professional who thrives on building new business while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships. The position requires strong ownership of territory performance disciplined pipeline management and the ability to operate independently within a fast-paced competitive market.
Key Responsibilities - Own and execute sales strategy across assigned territory
- Territory Ownership & Business Development
- Proactively identify target and develop new business opportunities
- Build relationships with key decision-makers within manufacturing and industrial accounts
- Drive consistent outbound activity including prospecting networking and market engagement
Sales Execution & Full-Cycle Management
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial outreach through close and post-sale follow-up
- Maintain a healthy and forward-moving pipeline aligned with revenue targets
- Effectively position solutions in a competitive environment with a focus on value and ROI
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales performance goals
Remote Sales Discipline & Accountability
- Operate independently within a remote structure while maintaining high levels of activity and accountability
- Manage time territory and priorities effectively without direct day-to-day oversight
- Maintain consistent communication cadence with leadership and internal stakeholders
CRM Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Utilize CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce or equivalent) to track all sales activity and opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline data forecasting and territory reporting
- Analyze personal performance metrics (conversion rates pipeline velocity win rates) to drive continuous improvement
- Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on territory performance and market trends
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Maintain strong ongoing relationships to drive retention and account growth
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and expansion within existing customers
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations customer service and supply chain to ensure alignment on customer needs
- Support forecasting demand planning and order execution processes
- Act as the voice of the customer internally
Market Engagement
- Represent the organization at industry events trade shows and networking opportunities
- Support lead generation efforts and follow-up strategies post-events
Qualifications
- 2 years of B2B sales experience (industrial manufacturing or distribution preferred)
- Proven ability to prospect and generate new business (hunter mentality required)
- Experience managing a remote territory or working independently
- Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems and sales reporting tools
- Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized self-motivated and results-driven
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed
