Job Summary:
We are looking for a Windows System Administrator with strong Active Directory experience to manage and support enterprise Windows environments. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with AD user management Group Policy and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Active Directory (AD) environment (users groups OUs)
- Administer Group Policy (GPO) DNS DHCP and domain services
- Create modify and disable user accounts and permissions
- Troubleshoot AD authentication login and access issues
- Install configure and maintain Windows Servers (2016/2019/2022)
- Monitor system performance and ensure system availability
- Perform patching upgrades and security updates
- Manage file servers permissions and shared resources
- Support backup and disaster recovery processes
- Work with infrastructure and network teams for issue resolution
- Maintain documentation and follow IT standards
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Active Directory (AD DS)
- Hands-on with Group Policy (GPO) DNS DHCP
- Experience in Windows Server Administration
- Good knowledge of user access management & security
- Experience with PowerShell scripting (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of VMware / Hyper-V
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as Windows/System Administrator
- Experience in enterprise AD environments (multi-domain)
- Knowledge of Azure AD / Hybrid environment
- Certifications like MCSA / MCSE (plus)
Work Model:
- Hybrid (2 3 days onsite in Bronx NY)
- In-person interview mandatory
