Electrical Technician
Location: North Canton OH
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to support electrical installation and system integration across commercial and industrial manufacturing projects. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with equipment wiring systems and technical drawings to ensure accurate safe and high-quality electrical work.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable electrical solutions while maintaining strict adherence to safety and code standards.
Key Responsibilities - Install wire and assemble electrical systems components and fixtures for industrial and commercial equipment
- Interpret and work from blueprints schematics and technical drawings to execute installations accurately
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting using tools such as multimeters ammeters and ohmmeters
- Ensure all installations comply with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations (including NEC standards)
- Work with both low-voltage and high-voltage systems while following proper safety procedures
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely during installation and maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with fabrication assembly and production teams to meet project timelines and technical requirements
- Identify and resolve electrical issues to maintain system performance and reliability
Required Qualifications & Skills - Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in industrial or commercial environments
- Strong understanding of electrical systems wiring methods and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- Hands-on experience with electrical tools testing instruments and installation equipment
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NEC guidelines
- Experience working with both low and high voltage systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications - Electrical certification or license (as per local regulations)
- Experience working in manufacturing or equipment-based environments
