Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: General Warehouse Laborer
- Location: Onsite Monday Friday (overtime as needed)
- Shift Options: 1st Shift 6:00am 2:30pm or 2nd Shift 12:00pm 8:30pm
- Duration: Now through December 31 2024 (no contract-to-hire potential)
- Requirements:
- Warehouse inbound and outbound experience
- High school diploma or GED
- PC literacy; Oracle experience preferred
- Ability to use forklift riding pallet jack pallet scales and calculator
- Able to read write and understand English
- Key Responsibilities:
- Process UPS and LTL shipments: pick pack palletize and prepare shipping documents
- Receive incoming products: count match receive in Oracle and store properly
- Load and unload trucks using a riding pallet jack
- Ship product sample requests for associates vendors and customers
- Support inventory control through cycle counting
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and perform routine cleaning
- Adhere to and promote safety health and environmental (SHE) standards; report hazards/incidents
- Participate in facility safety audits and comply with security protocols
- Collaborate as part of a rotating warehouse team and adapt to daily task assignments
- Additional Notes:
- No physical fitness test required
- Must be highly safety-conscious
- Ability to learn new processes and navigate warehouse systems
