Job Summary
JD
Managing the outbound movement of raw ingredients and packaging components from the warehouse to production areas or third-party manufacturers ensuring timely availability for production schedules.
Material Issuance & Dispensing: Providing RM/PM to the production department based on approved indents BMR (Batch Manufacturing Record) and BPR (Batch Packing Record).
Inventory Control: Maintaining accurate real-time records of RM/PM stocks ensuring 100% physical vs. SAP/system accuracy.
FIFO/FEFO Adherence: Ensuring materials are issued based on First In First Out (FIFO) or First Expired First Out (FEFO) to manage shelf life.
Documentation & Compliance: Managing all dispatch documentation including Delivery Challans Material Transfer Notes and Gate Passes while ensuring cGMP/QMS adherence.
Material Preparation & Staging: Cleaning and staging approved raw materials/packaging materials for transfer to production.
Storage & Handling: Ensuring materials are stored correctly (e.g. temperature-controlled) labeled properly (e.g. Approved) and handled according to safety guidelines.
Inter-Departmental Coordination: Coordinating with Quality Control (QC) Quality Assurance (QA) and Production to ensure only approved materials are issued.
