BGC Okanagan is seeking a Program Coordinator to lead our Restorative Justice program supports youth aged 1224 in repairing harm rebuilding relationships and reconnecting with their community following conflict or involvement in crime.
This role coordinates community justice forums and peace circles manages referrals and prepares participants for restorative processes. The Program Coordinator works closely with community partners schools and law enforcement and ensures services are delivered in a safe respectful and culturally responsive manner.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit screen interview and select Restorative Justice volunteers and caseworkers; provide orientation and training
- Schedule supervise support and evaluate staff and volunteers; lead regular team meetings
- Contribute to program planning development and evaluation
- Support budget development and communicate program needs to management
- Build and maintain relationships with community and volunteer organizations; develop promotional materials
- Promote the program through community engagement events and media in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator
- Prepare program reports and track key statistics
- Maintain accurate confidential client and program records in line with agency standards
- Collaborate on case management including scheduling conferences and managing case files (paper and digital)
- Conduct intake interviews with youth guardians and victims alongside the Restorative Justice worker
- Maintain and organize the digital file management system
Qualifications:
- Diploma in a related human / social service field.
- Two (2) years of recent related experience including supervisory or volunteer management experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
- Class 5 drivers licence
- Successful completion of Agency screening process including criminal record check
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday
Rate of Pay: $30.64 per hour
