Helper Rate: $20 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate helper to assist a mother with dementia who is still ambulatory and does not require personal care. The role focuses on light support maintaining a clean environment and assisting with meal preparation.
Care Responsibilities
- Light chores and general tidying
- Vacuuming (partial areas only)
- Meal preparation (cutting vegetables cooking)
- Cleaning up the kitchen after meals
- Provide companionship and general supervision
Option 1:
- Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday
- 2 hours per day (between 12:00 PM 1:00 PM)
Option 2:
- Monday and Thursday
- 4 hours per day
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with dementia care preferred
- Comfortable with light housekeeping and meal prep
- Patient attentive and dependable
This role is best suited for a helper who can provide gentle supervision and companionship while assisting with light household tasks in a calm and supportive manner.
