The US Vehicle Integration team at Mercedes-Benz is pivotal in establishing the brands technological leadership in the US luxury market. The team works collaboratively to drive innovation by translating US customer feedback into impactful propositions focusing on software-defined vehicles and thorough testing across various domains including infotainment connected cars E/E systems and BEV/HEV charging technologies. Together with supporting Mercedes-Benz North America vehicle workshops and operations their efforts ensure a seamless customer experience that uphold Mercedes-Benzs high standards.
We are searching for a dynamic leader ready to drive innovation quality and teamwork as Manager System Integration Infotainment this high-impact role youll be at the helm of a talented infotainment project testing team guiding efforts focusing on system integration testing operations for the North American markets.

Youll ensure the seamless preparation of test vehicles the availability of robust testbenches and systems and the strategic execution of test plans to deliver high-maturity software on time. Your leadership will be essential in orchestrating the successful deployment and integration of cutting-edge infotainment systems while also collecting and channeling market-specific feedback from your teams test expertise together with partners in the Quality and Sales organization back to the software development teams. You will contribute to the development of goals of the department as well as the development and implementation of new processes standards and operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results of the Infotainment System Integration team. Training and guiding others on the team will be part of your regular work.

Beyond project delivery youll work closely with Senior Management and department leaders to shape and evolve our project management methodology championing continuous improvement and empowering engineers in their career and technical growth. Upon hire this position will work from the MBRDNA Technical Center in Long Beach CA. The position will relocate to Atlanta GA in July 2026.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan organize and execute updates to test vehicle and bench systemsincluding hardware software retrofits calibration and documentationto ensure system availability aligned with project deliverables.
  • Review and validate project plans resource estimates work effort dependencies risks and mitigation strategies while effectively engaging and collaborating with project management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee market-specific testing design and evolution of core applications: user interface speech dialog system navigation tuner applications for audio or video streaming services connected applications and off-board services.
  • Coordinate and manage testing activities to ensure systems meet requirements and specifications; supervise test phases and error reporting with high quality and collect andreview data to track progress.
  • Ensure team members understand tasks communicate effectively deliver high-quality reporting and receive ongoing development and training.
  • Manage internal and external testing resourcesincluding allocation interviewing and onboardingwhile collaborating with CFOs system integration leads and other managers to define test design and appropriate test types.
  • Track employee performance and propose personal development plans with regular reviews supporting career growth and compliance with company policies and best practices. Give and solicit feedback on a regular basis to promote a feedback culture.
  • Organize and participate in test drives meetings and promptly communicate technical and quality issues identified during testing validation and verification.
  • Identify infotainment development risks and prioritize tasks accordingly even outside core areas of expertise.
  • Ensure the team has access to the tools training and development needed to deliver customer value and meet core objectives.
  • Ensure test environments and documentation are updated per release configurations and ISO-9001 standards.
  • Driving Mercedes-Benz prototype vehicles is a regular function for this position.
  • Domestic travel (10-15%) is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or related field of study
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience as a supervisor/manager/leading teams in the automotive field
  • Previous Automotive OEM or Tier1 supplier work experience
  • Ability to think logically and to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Excellent time management & communication skills both verbal and written including intercultural sensibility
  • Ability to develop/plan projects from conceptualization to successful implementation including ability of analysis and problem assessment
  • Ability to travel
  • Valid Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the development or validation of embedded systems and/or off-board connected vehicle or similar related experience
  • Experience leading/managing teams developing strategies execution of projects
  • Excellent presentation skills including the ability to adapt content based on audience and interests
