JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The shipping and receiving position is responsible for multiple warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid position that would move between plants as needed to support production. Job responsibilities include verifications and record keeping and preparation of items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Essential Functions

1. Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
2. Operate stretch wrap banders and other necessary packaging equipment.
3. Identify errors and packaging defects and correct accordingly.
4. Ability to lift 50 lbs. bend and twist throughout the work day.
5. Knowledge of UPS/FedEx shipping procedures.
6. Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regards to maintenance functions and other essential tasks as assigned.
7. Based on daily need communicate essential information needed to ensure proper and timely deliveries.
8. Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area.
9. Operate a baler/shredder for recycling product.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School education/GED
• 1-2 years of forklift experience

Shifts Available: Monday-Thursday 8PM - 6AM. Starting rate of pay is $24.78/hour.
