The Opportunity
Acciona is delivering critical transmission infrastructure to support Victorias renewable energy future. We are seeking a Procurement and Contracts Administrator. You will provide endtoend administrative and coordination support across procurement subcontract packaging contracts administration reporting and document control to ensure compliance with the project and its partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support procurement planning tendering and contract administration for civil works packages including preparation issue and evaluation of RFQs tenders and supporting documentation.
- Assist with the execution administration and closeout of civil contracts and subcontracts including management of variations amendments and contractual documentation.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate registers for civil procurement packages contracts approvals suppliers and commitments ensuring data integrity and traceability.
- Coordinate contract approvals signatures document control and recordkeeping ensuring procurement and contract documentation is complete compliant and auditready.
- Support financial and commercial tracking including procurement commitments purchase orders contract values and inputs to Monthly Progress Reports.
- Assist with monitoring subcontractor deliverables milestones and contractual obligations and support administration of claims notices and correspondence under direction of Commercial or Contracts Managers.
- Liaise with engineering construction and project teams to align procurement with delivery needs identify and escalate risks or issues support audits and probity requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Required Skills and Competencies
- A Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or substantial experience performing the role
- A solid foundation of experience in contracts administration preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry
- An ability to build conducive relationships with subcontractors in sometimes challenging environments whilst having the confidence to negotiate terms for win/win outcomes
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to manage a workload with competing priorities
