Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Every other weekend & holidays required

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate patient-centered care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have strong long-term care experience and the ability to support a diverse resident population including medically complex and isolation-care patients. Flexibility to float across units is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care based on individualized care plans
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene feeding mobility and grooming
• Support mobility transfers ambulation and range of motion (ROM) exercises
• Monitor and document vital signs intake/output and other resident observations
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Follow restorative care plans and use adaptive equipment as required
• Report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff immediately
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations
• Assist with post-mortem care and room turnover when needed
• Maintain professionalism and compassionate communication with residents and families
• Participate in required training and competency evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CNA certification (unrestricted)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care / skilled nursing setting
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Ability to float across multiple units including rehab post-acute and isolation care areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with geriatric and medically complex populations
