The Entry level ORACLE Database Administrator (DBA) will provide DBA support for our ORBIS healthcare software product for clients across the UK and Ireland.
Theysupport the design implementation maintenance and security of the ORBIS databases. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with foundational database knowledge who are eager to develop their technical skills while working alongside experienced DBAs and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Help with data imports exports and migrations.
- Assist ininstalling configuring and upgradingdatabase software.
- Supportbackup recovery and disaster recoveryprocesses.
- Monitor databaseperformance availability and security.
- Help withdata imports exports and migrations.
- Applypatches and updatesunder supervision.
- Respond to basicuser queries and troubleshootdatabase issues.
- Maintaindocumentationfor database configurations and procedures.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding ofSQLand relational database concepts.
- Familiarity withdatabase management systems(e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server Oracle).
- Awareness ofdata security principles.
- Strongproblem-solvingandattention-to-detailskills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Awareness of the AWS Cloud Platform.
