The successful Junior Mortgage Advisor will support clients throughout the entire mortgage journey from initial consultation and affordability assessments through to application approval and drawdown. Youll gain exposure to a broad range of mortgage products while building strong client relationships and developing your advisory and business development skills.

The Role
Conduct client fact-finds affordability assessments and KYC/AML checks
Provide regulated mortgage advice across first-time buyers movers switchers self-build and buy-to-let clients
Prepare submit and manage mortgage applications from AIP through to drawdown
Liaise with lenders solicitors valuers and clients throughout the application process
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lender criteria products rates and market developments
Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals
Develop relationships with estate agents accountants developers and other professional introducers
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while achieving agreed sales targets
Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Work closely with case managers and administrators to deliver an excellent client experience
Contribute to process improvements and share market insights with colleagues
The Person
QFA qualified (essential)
Minimum 3 years experience within a mortgage broker environment
Strong understanding of mortgage products and the wider financial services market
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Good understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Professional client-focused approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
Degree in Business Finance or related discipline desirable
Fully compliant with CPD requirements
