Role Purposes:

• Assist sales personnel and customers with the selection of the Companys products that best fit the application requirements
• These professionals must also troubleshoot any issues that arise throughout the duration of their projects and ensure each application meets customer standard requirements
• Work with the relevant colleagues marketing and external sales to facilitate new technology investigation launches and development of quality exhibits in the region for internal and external requirements including seminars exhibitions and product trainings
• Understand successful projects from multiple sources to encourage replication and promotion to our target industries

Major Accountabilities:

• Provide training and application support for Factory Automation or Process Automation (Explosion proof) products to internal and external parties in Japan
• Establish and maintain the detailed knowledge and process routine for pre-sales product training field testing application report QSM and RMA procedure
• Troubleshoot and support specific requirement from customer applications
• Closely liaise with regional and global colleagues to enhance flow of information feedback and encourage effective teamwork around the region Primary focus is cooperation between Japan Singapore and Germany
• Implement new product launch event and collect market feedback from various applications and industries
• Plan and design product demonstration including customer visits seminars and exhibitions
• Support Marketing and technical document translation and proofread for localization purpose
• Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time by management

Role Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics Mechanics or Industrial Engineering or similar
• Native Japanese Middle level in English (preferred TOEIC Score 600)
• Proven track record in automation projects or sales
• Working knowledge of PLC based automation platforms
• Good to understand PC based control and programming
• Knowledge of intermediate PLC Programming is an advantage
• Understanding of complex sensor applications and data handling in factory automation is advantageous
• Minimum 2 year field support experience in FA or PA industry
