The candidate will be responsible for managing a substantial bladder cancer cohort encompassing cases of muscle-invasive and complex disease. Key responsibilities include:
- Executing radical cystectomy and various urinary diversion procedures.
- Employing advanced robotic surgical techniques utilizing the Da Vinci Xi and DV5 platforms.
- Functioning within a practice that offers in-house Physician Assistants for inpatient management and as first assistants in the operating room.
- Engaging in collaboration within a multidisciplinary cancer program that operates across three states.
- Primarily operating at St. Peters Hospital benefitting from dedicated robotic time slots.
- Participating in clinical decision-making processes patient consultations and follow-up care protocols.
- Upholding high standards regarding patient care documentation practices and outcome evaluations.
**Additional Requirements:**
- Must be Board Certified in Urology with a fellowship or substantial experience in urologic oncology.
- Possession of a New York State Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA License is required.
- Must present a clean malpractice history.- Submission of the most recent NPDB Self Query Report is necessary.
