Job Summary
Description
The IMA Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to help facilitate structured medical evaluations in a clinic setting. This position focuses on supporting providers and ensuring a smooth efficient patient experience. No on-call requirements.
- Full-time shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Rotating schedule may include occasional Saturdays (planned ahead)
- Partner with providers during patient assessment visits
- Collect and document vital signs histories and basic health data
- Complete clinical tasks such as blood draws EKGs and screenings
- Prepare and restock exam rooms; maintain equipment readiness
- Support accurate documentation and patient flow throughout the day
- High school diploma or GED required; formal MA training preferred
- Previous experience in a medical or clinical environment required
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is beneficial but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Starting rate: $18.50/hour
