Enabling the movement toward advanced chip design KLAs Measurement Analytics and Control group (MACH) is looking for the best and brightest research scientists software engineers application development engineers and senior product technology process engineers to join our team. The MACH teams mission is to collaborate with our customers to innovate technologies and solutions that detect and control highly complex process variationsat their sourcerather than compensate for them at later stages of the manufacturing process. With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Our MACH team develops leading-edge solutions for patterning process analytics and control technologies thereby providing customers with critical insight at the feature level field level and cross-wafer analysis. Our teams also develop advanced modeling simulation data analytics and process control modeling technologies. As a member of the MACH team youll be joining the most sophisticated and successful process-control company in the semiconductor industry--working across functions to solve the most complex technical problems in the digital age.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Our team multidisciplinary international ONE team. For our headquarter in Dresden we are looking for a System Administrator for Customer Support.

How the typical working day might look like:

• Acting as the first point of contact for customers providing professional and solutionoriented support.
• The installation of our software solutions at the customers site will be part of your responsibilities.
• Independent delivery of remote customer support.
• Monitoring the performance and stability of software solutions including error analysis and troubleshooting
• Supporting the rollout of new software releases including hotfixes and patches to ensure smooth implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

What you should bring in for this role:

• You have a degree in the field of IT or in a comparable subject area.
• Experience with the installation configuration and administration of Windows Server systems.
• It is an advantage if you have already gained experience with SQL servers and with container technologies (such as Docker/ Kubernetes).
• Experience in the installation configuration and administration of Linux systems is also desirable.
• Affinity for technology and are interested in topics related to the IT environment.
• Excellent communication skills and work independently customer oriented as well as responsible.
• Our team operates in an international environment and supports customers worldwide. Therefore fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required knowledge of German is an advantage.
