What awaits you/ Job Profile	Contact person for mechanic- design- and part number release topics in the BE team Battery Management System. Contact person for storage regarding installation space approvals mechanical failure patterns etc. Management of suppliers concerning mechanical/design issues in Battery Management System Approval of planning and maintenance of CAD data in PRISMA including work structures Installation space investigations and creation of inspection orders towards storage Creation and management of part numbers Review of assembly instructions Responsibility for fulfillment of ME requirements for Battery: Assembly SV Crash DFM (Design for Manufacturing) Screw cases Acoustics Special features Homologation (compliance with L-characteristics) Materials BT labeling (labels warnings material markings etc.) Recycling Transport protection and packaging Tesca Handling Chemical resistance Thermal performance
What should you bring along	Experience in the Battery Management System in automotive industry Experience at BMW (PRISMA skills) Fluent English communication skills; German is an advantage Proven experience in design geometric integration and package development of automotive components ideally powertrain Experience in crossfunctional coordination with architecture teams suppliers and production interfaces Confident development and handling of CAD models drawings and supplier deliverables with milestone focus and release management Proficient user of CATIA V5(design package studies); Catia V6/3DExperience Skills are a plus Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Teams
Must have technical skill	Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Industrial Engineering or related field. 5 years of experience in automotive. Proficiency in Catia V-5 V-6 PLM tools Understanding of CAD integration Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good to have technical skills	Experience with powertrain architectures Familiarity with BMW tools such as PRISMA BMW PDM virtual vehicle environments Exposure to prototype build support and concept studies
