In this role youll provide hands-on leadership in the areas of accounting and financial reporting as well as direct the companys accounting processes periodic forecasting and job costing process. Youll be the strategic partner for the General Manager with a dotted line to the Business Unit VP of Finance. Youll work side by side with our team in Perrysburg OH.

• Sales & Business Development
  Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research cold outreach networking and industry events.
  Conduct customer visits to explore growth potential and increase sales.
  Assess customer needs and propose customized product solutions.
  Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
• Customer Relationship Management
  Serve as the main point of contact for distributors and end users.
  Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  Assist with logistics customs processes order tracking and delivery coordination.
  Thoroughly document all customer details and sales progress in Salesforce CRM.
• Technical Support
  Guide customers in the design installation and setup of transverse jaws for packaging machines.
  Troubleshoot sealing issues and recommend performance improvements.
  Collaborate with the internal engineering team for product modifications and design approvals.
• Internal Coordination & Administration
  Communicate customer feedback to engineering and production to ensure timely deliveries.
  Assist with administrative duties such as invoicing and documentation.
  Coordinate with logistics to meet customer-specific shipping and delivery requirements.

• Experience:
  25 years in technical support maintenance or roles related to packaging machinery (e.g. horizontal/vertical form-fill-seal machines transverse jaws).
• Technical Competence:
  Solid understanding of packaging machine components and mechanical systems.
  Ability to interpret and validate technical drawings; CAD experience (AutoCAD SolidWorks) is an asset.
  Ability to accurately measure and document mechanical components.
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills particularly with sealing issues.
• Soft Skills:
  Excellent communication customer service and negotiation skills.
  Effective liaison between clients and internal departments.
  Self-motivated and comfortable with frequent travel (50% /-).
