Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist Radiographer
Location: Elmhurst NY 11373
Duration: 14 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: 4:00 PM 12:30 AM (Evening/Night Shift)
Hours: 40 hours/week (5 days/week)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to perform general diagnostic imaging procedures in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work independently during evening shift operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general radiographic imaging procedures accurately and safely
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Maintain patient safety comfort and confidentiality at all times
- Operate imaging equipment following established protocols and standards
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient patient care delivery
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program (Associates degree or equivalent including military training if applicable)
- Current ARRT certification and registration
- Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license (NYSDOH)
- Strong command of English (speaking reading writing)
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
