As a Security Officer - Medical Center - Full Timein Savannah GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support patients visitors and staff with outstanding service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and urgent situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including entrances hallways parking areas and perimeter points helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor facility activity and assist with access control visitor direction and security-related support for patient care areas while following site policies and post instructions.
• Support healthcare location operations by communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during alarms medical events or other critical situations requiring a timely response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
