Job Summary
Overview
Jhpiego an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University supports public health programs through strengthened data systems and evidence-based decision-making across its projects. As part of ongoing program needs Jhpiego seeks to engage M&E temp hire to assist with routine data management and reporting activities across supported projects.
The M&E temporary hire will support the entry of training and meeting data into Jhpiegos DHIS2 instance and support the Senior Data Analytics Officer in managing Jhpiegos data systems. The role will focus on ensuring timely and accurate data entry supporting data quality checks and contributing to routine data reviews to strengthen program monitoring and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support entry of training and meeting data into Jhpiegos DHIS2 instance
- Carry out data validation and triangulation of program data
- Data cleaning and validation of data for analysis
- Conduct routine data profiling quality checks/reviews on DHIS2.
- Generate reporting rate analysis
- Ensure timely reporting of data across projects
- Support efforts to maintain data consistency and integrity
- Support data review meetings to strengthen program monitoring and decision-making.
- Provide support in resolving basic DHIS2 data-related issues
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- BSc. or HND in social and science related field with at least 1-2-years experience in public health programs.
- Basic Knowledge of data documentation and reporting of health programs
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and Evaluation
- Proficiency in word processing Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Excel DHIS2 and any other visualization tools
