Job Title: Design Engineer II

Location: Cork

Reports to: Design Engineering Director

Job Overview:

The role of Analog IC Designer offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the IC products and get a great insight into the design environment methodologies and tools of mixed signal IC product design teams. The Analog IC Designer will be responsible for the design and development of analog/mixed signal IC circuit blocks from initial concept/specification through final verification of conformance to customer specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design/Familiarity of some/any of the following blocks: Amplifiers Biasing/Bandgap; Voltage RegulatorsADCs/DACs; Drivers; Receivers; Clocking blocks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills analog aptitude good communication skills and ability to work co-operatively in a team environment
• Position requires knowledge in using CAD tools for circuit simulation layout and physical verification
• Cadence tool experience lab test experience are a plus

Job Qualifications:

• Successful candidate should be BEng MEng qualified or have an equivalent qualification.

• MS or PhD in EE are a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skillsanalog aptitude good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
