You would be joining the engineering team developing tenders for SPS projects within Baker Hughes. Upon award of a project this role may transition as a Systems Engineer supporting the Project Execution team in delivering the project commitments.

With your technical leadership our advanced systems will operate seamlessly across diverse field architectures. Each project brings unique challengesfrom system architecture and detailed engineering to verification and validationproviding an unmatched opportunity for growth and impact.

As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Taking a leading role in system layout and configuration from early engagement phase through tendering detailed design and execution on subsea projects.

• Providing technical leadership across tenders projects and assigned engineering tasks ensuring highquality delivery.

• Contributing to technical proposals as part of tender teams or acting as a peer technical checker. This includes development of the technical solution working with SPS product groups to define optimized subsea system solutions in line with Customer requirements and aligned with Baker Hughes strategy. Producing tender documentation including technical write up technical risk registers execution CTRs etc.

• Participating / leading client technical negotiations to secure optimal equipment solutions meeting technical requirements and ensured cost efficiency.

• Understanding subsea field development architecture and the integration of all subsea equipment components into a systems solution.

• Leading interface definition and management across work packages global Baker Hughes locations and client technical teams.

• Reporting technical progress risks and interface status through project meetings and formal progress reporting for assigned tasks.

• Supporting the Commercial team in identifying and pursuing new opportunities with a focus on earlyengagement solutions.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a masters or a bachelors degree with significant Oil & Gas experience including opportunity identification conceptual studies PreFEED and FEED for subsea systems.

• Have proven experience in design and selection of one or more key engineering areas:

  • Field architecture

  • Flow assurance

  • Process engineering

  • Subsea production systems

  • Control systems

  • Constructability and installation

• Be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

• Bring a broad understanding of engineering and project management processes methods and best practices.

• Possess extensive handson experience in project engineering within a complex multidisciplinary environment.
