Performance Objectives for Year One:

Architect and Deploy Modern Cloud Solutions: Within the first 6-12 months design develop and deploy robust cloud-native Java applications (using Java 11/17 and Spring Boot) into the AWS ecosystem to support critical post-trade business operations.
Drive Zero-Manual Automation: Lead an initiative to identify and eliminate manual operational work. Implement and optimize comprehensive CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) to automate deployments entirely.
Guarantee Production Stability: Take ownership of the production environments reliability by implementing rigorous unit testing establishing proactive CloudWatch monitoring and ensuring a predictable highly available system with a significant reduction in defect leakage.
Elevate Engineering Standards: Actively mentor junior developers and peers within the IT Applications Development team through rigorous code reviews championing modern software design patterns and instilling strict DevSecOps principles.
