AsaData Engineer Co-op in the Group Functions Data Office you will support BAU initiatives process enhancements and new operational procedures.Youlllearn our data platform infrastructure and ETL best practices while developing skills in Azure Databricks and modern data engineering workflows.Youllwork closely with experienced data engineers and gainhandsonexperience in data ingestion curation and reporting.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated student to join us in ourToronto Ontario Canada office for a4-month co-op running from September 1st December 18th2026.This is a hybrid position where you are expected to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Position Responsibilities:
Support and enhance ETL pipelines and data workflows.
Participate in data ingestion transformation and reporting efforts.
Learn core platform and engineering practices through collaboration with senior team members.
Contribute to CI/CD DevOps and operational activities.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Basic knowledge of SQL Python and libraries such as PandasSQLAlchemy andPySpark.
Datadrivenmindset and interest in data engineering best practices.
Strong communicationskills and willingness to ask questions and seek clarity.
Resourcefulness and ability to work through challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding ofAzure cloud services; Databricks experience is an asset.
Awareness of CI/CD DevOps concepts and operational workflows.
