We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in an ambulatory surgery setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care throughout surgical procedures while ensuring safety efficiency and compliance with clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
Perform pre-operative intra-operative and post-operative nursing duties
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams
Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff within the OR
Float within perioperative services as needed
Schedule & Work Details:
4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM)
No weekend holiday or on-call requirements
Floating required within perioperative services
40 hours per week
Requirements:
Active RN license (state or compact)
BLS (AHA) certification
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) required
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
ACLS and PALS certifications
