The Cloud Operations Lead reports to the Cloud and Data Centres Senior Manager and is responsible for the daytoday coordination and operational delivery of BAU Cloud services through the KL Hubbased Infrastructure Engineering team. Acting as the primary operational focal point the role oversees the execution and assurance of cloud operations ensuring incidents requests problems and changes are effectively managed and meet agreed SLAs and XLAs while overall service accountability remains with the Infrastructure Team Manager. The role works closely with engineers senior engineers I&O Operations Leads Cyber Security monitoring teams and thirdparty providers to drive service excellence continuous improvement effective patching and wellgoverned global changes while supporting team capability development and adherence to policies standards and operating procedures.

Your responsibilities:
Leading a team of Cloud engineers based in Malaysia managing performance shifts and absence.
Act as a focal point for the operational Cloud team.
Collaborate with team managers senior engineers engineers and lead engineers to deliver BAU operations.
Report on the BAU activities aligned to agreed outcomes across senior engineering and engineering teams to senior
management.
Drive service excellence ensuring strong incident request problem and change management.
Collaborate with I&O Ops Leads Cyber Security and engineers to coordinate and report on patching activities.
Responsible for ensuring all Cloud resources are monitored whilst collaborating with the monitoring team to drive
continuous improvement.
Working alongside the wider team oversee day to day cloud ops leading planning co-ordination and execution of global
changes including but not limited to patching upgrades policy updates to ensure changes are well managed.
Oversee and report on the cloud incidents service requests problem and changes ensuring these are appropriately
managed and are meeting SLAs and XLAs.
Support coach and mentor the team members on relevant technologies.
Oversee the day-to-day support of the cloud estate
Identify shift left opportunities for cloud tasks.
Work with third party network providers to support cloud services.
Be available to work on shifts as required.
Ability to work flexible working hours to support a global multi-time zone customer base.
Ensure that documentation is maintained and updated in line with standards and policies.
Share acquired knowledge with colleagues through formal documentation and communications sessions.
At all times adhere to all company Policies Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Carry out any other duties which are within the employees skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
Requirements for the role:
Strong communication skills capable of presenting and reporting
Experience leading day-to-day operations for an enterprise IT or Cloud Operations team.
Proven ability to coach mentor and develop technical teams to deliver consistent operational outcomes.
Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure services and security platforms sufficient to oversee delivery and assurance
Solid experience working within IT service management disciplines including incident problem change and request management.
Ability to drive continuous improvement service maturity and shift-left initiatives using operational insight and data.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to report clearly to senior management in a global environment.
