As a Hotel Maintenance/ Mechanic II you perform highly diversified duties to install troubleshoot repair and maintain the propertys facilities and equipment  and to ensure a safe and functional environment for the Hotel  guests!

Hotel Maintenance/Mechanic II

What you will be doing:

• You will be responsible for handling the general maintenance and repairs in the entire hotel including guest rooms meeting spaces public areas kitchens hotel perimeters & heart of house. 
• In addition you will perform repairs on mechanical electrical and kitchen equipment; as well as HVAC refrigeration and plumbing where possible. 
• You will be responsible for and be proactive in reporting deficiencies and areas needing repair according to hotel reporting procedures. 
• You will complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis. 
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on propertys facilities and equipment and take immediate corrective action where possible.
• Assist guests regarding property facilities whenever possible.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

• HVAC certification a plus. Strong technical skills encouraged. Knowledge in areas like plumbing electrical work carpentry and HVAC systems. 
• Passion for delivering personalized customer service and a strong commitment to creating the desired guest experience for all.
•  Excellent communication organizational and problem solving skills. An ability to work under pressure while maintaining a sense of poise and professionalism.
• A positive can-do team player attitude. A strong desire to support and assist your department and other hotel colleagues and help them navigate and overcome roadblocks and obstacles.
• A desire to learn and grow and a fast paced chic exciting environment!
