General Summary Of Duties:

Assist with the work in the baked goods area of the kitchen to include the preparation and production of all baked items. 

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

• Actively participates with co-workers to complete all job assignments.
• Adheres to control procedure for food costs labor costs and quality.
• Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing/restocking workstation with supplies.
• Check station before during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation.
• CLEAN AS YOU GO - Keep your workstation neat and orderly and perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to standards.

Qualifications :

Performance Requirements: (Knowledge skills and abilities)

• Requires reading and math skill for recipes and measurements.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to co-workers.
• Ability to read write speak and understand the English language in order to complete food requisitions menus and recipes and communicate with other employees.
• Ability to read write speak and understand the English language to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal instructions from supervisor.
• Communicate with supervisor throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform duties within hot to normal to cold temperature ranges.
• Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use knives and kitchen tools.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment including bread slicer mixers and ovens.
• Ability to grasp bend lift and/or carry 60 lbs. max  or  otherwise  move or push goods on a cart/rack weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. on a  continuous schedule.
• Ability to stand move and work throughout the workstation for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to work with small delicate and sensitive knives requiring fine finger dexterity.
• Ability to walk and work 90  percent  of  the  time  to  a  maximum  of  two miles/shift.
• Ability to organize prioritize work and meet deadlines.
