Staff Engineer (PythonAWS)

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of proven expertise in designing developing and delivering scalable Java/Python-based applications on AWS. This role focuses on building next-generation Agentic AI solutions while contributing to high-impact cloud-native platforms at Experian.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain Agentic AI modules using Python and MCP integrating seamlessly with existing enterprise services.
• Build and deliver robust scalable applications using Java Python and AWS cloud services.
• Troubleshoot production issues perform root-cause analysis and implement timely high-quality fixes.
• Ensure application performance reliability quality and responsiveness across systems.
• Write clean efficient and maintainable code aligned with engineering best practices.
• Conduct thoughtful peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Contribute to architecture system design and estimation discussions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including QA DevOps Product and UX.
• Work with relational (Aurora MySQL) and NoSQL databases to design efficient data solutions.
• Leverage AWS services such as S3 SQS SNS ECS EMR and related tools.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines frontend performance accessibility and build systems.
• Mentor engineers and foster a strong engineering culture focused on quality and innovation.
• Identify opportunities for automation optimization and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8 years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Java and Python (Preferred).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud ecosystem and distributed systems.
• Experience building scalable high-performance applications and microservices.
• Strong understanding of system design debugging and performance optimization.
• Experience with modern development practices CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
